Dear Valued Customer,
We wish to provide you with an update as to Royal Chemical's ability to fulfill your production requirements during the coronavirus crisis.
Yesterday, the states of California and Pennsylvania ordered non-life-sustaining businesses to closer their physical operations. It appears highly likely that other states will enact similar orders in the near feature.
In the case of both states orders, Royal Chemical meets the criteria of a life-sustaining business since we manufacture products which are vital to food supply, healthcare and the community as a whole. These products include cleaners and sanitizes as well as municipal water treatment additives and purifiers. Royal Chemical also meets the current Federal criteria relative to businesses which would remain in operation should a restrictive order be issues at the federal level.
All five Royal Chemical manufacturing plants continue to operate at full production rates and we are hiring workers to help meet the surging demand of critically important products during this crisis. Vigorous measures have been implemented to protect the health of our employees and, thus far we have not experienced a drop-off in worker availability. We have begun to see tightness in the supply of key raw materials and are working diligently to resolve these issues.
We are all in this together. Trust that Royal Chemical is doing all within our power to support your business and aid the needs of our community.
Sincerely,
David DeBord
Chief Operating Officer
